geat2GO to continue to 2024/25
Indigo is the national provider of geat2GO, a federally funded service dedicated to ensuring that older Australians who are eligible for Goods, Equipment and Assistive Technology (GEAT) under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme can access it easily, regardless of where you live. It allows older people living across Australia regionally, remote and in cities, to access helpful devices and equipment to continue living independently and make daily tasks easier.
As geat2GO approaches the end of its second year of operation, the Federal Government has confirmed continuation of the service with Indigo.
With around 50,000 clients provided services over the past 12 months, we remain committed to ensuring that the equipment and services provided through geat2GO are of the highest quality. As part of the service, we follow up with our clients 3 months after all equipment has been delivered to ensure clients have met their goals and provide support to address any arising issues.
96% of our clients have said goods and equipment provided through the service has assisted them in meeting their goal, with an average 9 out of 10 satisfaction rating on the service across the metrics of timeliness, effectiveness of equipment and overall satisfaction.
