The first step on your road to independence is having your fitness and capacity to drive assessed via an occupational therapist driver assessment (OTDA).

An OTDA determines the impact your disability or medical condition has on your potential to learn to drive or continue to drive.

The report and quote (for recommended driving lessons) must then be submitted to the NDIS for approval.

Once driving lessons are approved (and the approval process can take several months), our NDIS Driving team will tailor specialised driving lessons for you, to improve your on-road and driving skills and confidence.

All Indigo NDIS Driving Services require the completion of a self-referral, and must include a medical, and a medical summary listing any medical conditions and medication.
