 Indigo (formally Independent Living Centre WA) is a leading provider of Assistive technology (devices and equipment), home modifications, therapy, driving and professional education. As part of ICT team, you will work across the business supporting users at two Perth metro sites. Having a cloud and mobile-first approach, we are looking for an ICT professional that loves working with people and keen to learn and work with new technologies.  THE ROLE

This role will be based out of our Nedlands office and soon to be additional premise in East Perth. As an organisation we also offer work from home flexibility to help you balance your life.

The Web Application Developer will be an integral part of the ICT Team that develops, maintains and grows a portfolio of web applications / websites, enhancing organisations customer-focused approach.  Working closely with the business operations and ICT team is key to the success of this role

The role would be of interest for a high calibre ICT Graduate that would like to start their career in an organisation that adopted a cloud-first and digital first approach.

This role will have web application development accountability over several key areas including:

  • Support/maintenance of Azure/AWS services (App services, App functions, DevOps)
  • Undertake website maintenance
  • Support the development of web applications
  • Be actively involved in improving existing applications
  • Maintain alignment with organisations strategic direction, systems and processes
  • Understanding and maintaining REST APIs
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and teamwork
  • Experience in Azure/AWS environments
  • .net programming skills
  • Desire to learn about building, monitoring, and maintaining CI/CD systems.

THE CANDIDATE 

Essential skills and experience required:

  • A self-starter that is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Results-driven and service-oriented with excellent time-management skills
  • Lead on the architectural design and collaborate with designers and BAs to interpret requirements
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and teamwork
  • Experience in Azure/AWS environments
  • Technical Lead experience
  • .net programming skills
  • Desire to learn about building, monitoring, and maintaining CI/CD systems.

Desirable employment experience required:

  • Exposure to digital marketing
