THE ROLE
With ongoing growth of Indigo, and expansion of the national GEAT (Goods, Equipment and Assistive Technology) contract under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, we are seeking professional and driven Customer Service Officers to be part of our team.
AT helps people to maximise their independence and ability to manage everyday tasks at home or out in the community - examples include personal alarms, shower chairs, wheeled walkers, wheelchairs and also small aids like long-handled reaching sticks and can openers but there are many more! Our service supports people to access AT in their lives and we are looking for people to be involved to review how they are doing.
- Completing follow-up phone calls with older adults after they have received their equipment to ensure it is meeting their needs.
- Talking and listening to older adults to see if they need to be referred onto further services
- Providing information about equipment to older adults as required with the support of occupational therapists in the team.
- Documenting client interactions by recording notes and outcomes on client management systems and databases.
THE CANDIDATE
- Excellent communication skills in particular good phone mannerism as you will be required to converse with older adults
- Demonstrated experience in customer service
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computing skills, being competent in MS Office, Outlook and Teams
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities around system use – being able to work across multiple platforms whilst being on a phone call
- Collaborative team approach
- An interest in assistive technology
- Knowledge of Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
- Knowledge of assistive technology
