Indigo (formerly Independent Living Centre WA) Aged Care Services are a Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) service provider. We deliver services to improve the lives of senior Australians through the provision of allied health services, Goods Equipment and Assistive Technology (GEAT) services and home modifications with a focus on wellness and reablement.

THE ROLE

The newly created role of Continuous Improvement Coordinator, highlights the commitment from Indigo to provide high quality services to our consumers. The role is predominantly to monitor changes within the aged care environment as they develop and implement strategies to ensure Indigo’s services remain at the forefront of the aged care environment.

The role will require you to:

  • Drive and coordinate continuous improvement at the system, process and cultural level for Aged Care Services
  • Research and stay abreast of developments in the aged care sector, including the Aged Care reform and implementation of recommendations as they are released
  • Analyse existing processes, workflows and procedures using a Continuous Improvement Model and develop process enhancement strategies
  • Ensure required standards (eg: Aged Quality Care standards) are met and best practice considered in continuous improvement processes
  • Communicate research, ideas and opinions to other members of management team with a continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness focus
  • Train, mentor, support and guide team members in new processes
  • Ensure changes developed are consumer focused within the requirements of the CHSP programme.

THE CANDIDATE 

If you are passionate about the Aged Care Sector and the delivery of quality services, then we would love to hear from you! The successful candidate will have:

  • Recent experience in the Aged Care Sector, performing analysis and process design
  • Experience in successfully leading process initiatives within improvement programs
  • Proven ability to analyse and document complex business processes
  • Advanced skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio (or other flowchart maker software) and project management software (desirable)
  • Proven success in engaging, influencing, negotiating and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to develop ongoing working relationships that achieve positive outcomes.
